It's time to reveal the secret...the cat's PUG's out of the bag!
Now introducing...Mimzy the pug puppy!
Aunt Corndog and the Broski called yesterday to say they were going to pick up their pug- THE pug- the one they have been dreaming of getting since they started dating a billion years ago. It all happened so fast, that I was in shock because they have wanted one for so long, I couldn't believe it was all happening in the space of one weekend! Woohoo!
We were so excited for them! We asked if we could come over for dinner to meet their sweet little fuzz ball last night, and since I had a little time on my hands yesterday, Newbie and I put together some hats and made cupcakes as a welcome offering. Mimzy liked them. =)
We stayed for dinner then headed out after an hour or two, because there was a little one who needed to hit the hay, but we got in plenty of cuddles and sloppy puppy kisses before we had to leave! I had my mom snag a picture of the welcoming crew in their party hats:
