Digging out of the tundra to tell you that we're snowed-in like never before.
Even the Hubs has a snow day today! Unprecedented!
And there are 1200+ closings today. Unprecedented!
And the snow completely buries Opie on bathroom runs. Unprecedented!
And the snow is so high and fluffy, I actually considered getting off the couch to go play in it. Unprecedented!
And the Corndog and Broski couldn't even get their car out of the driveway. Unprecedented!
And its so cold outside that my nose and pinkie finger fell off this morning. Unprecedented!
And I am staying in my velour all day. Unprece- ...wait, no, that happens a lot.
Bottom line: Blizzard of 2011 did it's worst, and it's worst is pretty stinking impressive. There's no telling when Newbie and I are going to get out of here and reunite with the Hubs. I'm sure the Hubs will be bummed he has to play video games all day while munching on the reserves of hot cocoa and pecans I had stashed away for such a time as this.
Newbie is not looking any better today. It sounds like the frog in his throat has moved in to hibernate through the blizzard. Poor baby. He slept restlessly last night, though he didn't fully wake-up often, so we caught a some good z's in between the tossing and turning. Lots of snuggling and napping and Praise Baby DVD watching on the agenda today.
Hope you are all warm and well this morning, and to my friends enjoying 70+ temps in tropical paradise-like conditions today...how did you swing a house in Carolina or Florida and when can we come over?
All the "unprecedented"s made me think of The Princess Bride. Inconceivable! Hope Newbie feels better :)
