Anybody? Anybody? Bueller...

We spent our Labor Day weekend camping with the fam Up North where the golf carts rev and the water sparkles and the wineries runneth over.Newbie was an excellent road tripper this time around, which was a relief from the grump-packed drive we had the last time we went north together.
(This boy is The Very Hungry Caterpillar's biggest fan.)
Grandma has a slew of toys, and Newbie spent a good chunk of the weekend making laps around the cottage with one or two toys in hand.
We spent a lot of time outside, transitioning from shorts and tee's the first half of the weekend to sweatshirts and jeans the second. I love chilly fall weather, and it was fun to ring in the start of September with some cozy long sleeves and pants.

Saturday night we won the jack pot and had the privilege of enjoying a park party where my FIL busted out some of this action:
(Mongolian BBQ style make-your-own stir fry. YUM.)
And where my MIL introduced me to the glory that is the Bahama Mama Smoothie. I think we are going to have to attend RV park parties more often. =)
For the rest of the weekend, we watched Newbie master the spoon, went rock hunting on the beach, enjoyed delicious meals and went wine tasting before we packed it up and headed home.
(Newbie loves him some Grandma and Grandpa.)
At lunch on Monday, our waitress snapped a picture of the whole lot of us before we hit the trail and went our separate ways after a weekend well spent. Thanks for showing us another fabulous time Up North, Grandma and Grandpa!!!
I like to think my little sis gets her awesomeness from me:

I love that crowd. A lot.
Happy Wednesday!
