a little bit of this; a little bit of that

Aunt Corndog plum wore us out....

We went to her apartment today to keep her company while she cut out a children's apron pattern.  She's opening an Etsy site and making a slew of fun things to sell.  I can't wait- she is so crafty and has such a knack for all things adorable.   I'll keep you updated on the progress so you can check out her shop when she gets it up and running!

Yesterday Newbie had a blast hanging out on his Bevo blanket from his Aunt Flo....we LOVE that blanket and pulled it out just in time for college football season.  Hook 'em HORNS!

Monday night we went downtown with my Bestie and her entourage to see some amazing artwork.  We had a lot of fun on Round 2....but the cotton candy stand was out of commission. The kids went bonkers-kicking and screaming and crying about the lack of sweet pink and blue clouds of sugar on a paper cone.   Or maybe that was just me. I can't remember.

This piece was a rendition of the 7 Days of Creation made entirely out of CRAYONS.  So neat!

My bestie and her gang...

 Sand is always fun.

(I totally had a grocery cart like that one pictured above.  Many a doll went for a ride in that baby back in the day.) This was a huge piece of artwork made out of things found on the streets of Detroit.

My boys =)

Well, we're off to enjoy some hamburger stroganoff leftovers and possibly some couch-lounging.  It's going to be a good time. Hope y'all have a fleece footie PJ's and favorite stuffed animal kind of night!
