A Knack

Guess who zonked out just in time for his mama and daddy to catch "The Office" tonight?

You got it, dude.

It's like a mini date night- as long as the little guy stays asleep and doesn't decide to make his early bed time just a little pre-bedtime snooze.  Only time will tell....

.................annnnnd before I even finished this post he was up and at 'em again.  No harm, no foul.  We will just plan on a later bedtime tonight and a good morning sleeping in tomorrow. =)

Newbie was wiped out tonight after having his little buddy B over this morning.  Check out the load of red hair this little guy's got!  So stinkin' cute.  Newbie was loving having somebody his size to squawk at and exchange slobbery toys with.  They had a blast!

Which means the mamas had a lot of time to chat and drink coffee. =)

Right before B and his mama left, I snapped a couple pictures.  Newbie got a little handsy and snagged B's arm.  I'm pretty sure he was begging him to stay because he knew he had a nap coming his way after his buddy went home.

(Sorry about the red eyes- I'm in a hurry to enjoy this date-night before Newbie changes his mind, so I don't have time to edit them!)

After Newbie's nap this afternoon we opened the mailbox to find two more pairs of adorable leg warmers from his sweet great grandmother, Mutte.  They are just precious and make his chubby little legs look so cute!  Thank you, Mutte!!!

After opening the little package in the mail, the Hubs came home just in time to teach Newbie a few bad manners before going to bed.  Awesome!  Let's sit on the kitchen counter!

Truth be told, I was too excited to see Newbie sitting up and too nervous that he was 4 feet off the ground to really worry about my kitchen counter or bad manners.  His daddy is so full of mischief- counter tops today, monster truck driving tomorrow.

*Sigh*

If you're looking at my son's shirt and wondering if that is drool covering a good 97% of it, let me assure you, it most certainly is.  He is such a slobbery little guy, and rumor has it that his daddy was too.  Like father, like son!  I've just gotten used to changing his outfit two or three times a day. =)

To conclude, I'd like to submit a few photos Newbie snapped while we were playing on the floor after the boys' counter antics tonight:

He's got a knack for photography, that's for sure. =)
